Flaps...everyday you made us laugh, but today you made us cry.
We will never forget our little buddy with the velvet ears and stumpy little legs.
Our Flapperdoodle who could sniff out a bag of garbage or the neighbor's compost pile in seconds.
The Basset who would do acrobatics for a pizza crust.
The dog who would roll over for anyone to scratch his belly.
Our first baby. We know that you tolerated BP and you thought BB was a cruel trick.
They loved you though!
We will miss you Flaps!

Oh no, I am so sorry! We know just how hard it is, we are still dealing with this daily in our house. How is BP holding up? How are you holding up?
Thanks Eirka! I thought of you guys and your recent loss when this happened. BP is talking about it a lot. I don't think she really gets it though. I broke down tonight when driving home we saw a family walking their basset hound a long the road. It is hard.
