Elf on the Shelf

Aunt Nicole and Uncle Matt sent BP and BB "The Elf on the Shelf" a couple weeks ago. Thank you!! Thank you!!
It has been so much fun for them and for us too! The girls named their Elf, Ernie, and each night he travels home to "talk" to Santa at the North Pole. He has magical powers you see...and in the morning he is hiding in a new place in our house. They jump out of bed each morning and the first thing they do is search for the elf. The book that came with Ernie explains the whole thing. It is a great new tradition for us!

Beth bought us one of these and he arrived this past Thanksgiving morning. We LOVE Toot Brownie Nutcracker (as he's affectionately known as in our house). I almost cried this morning when the kids found him. They know he is leaving tonight to be with his family and Dylan was having a heart to heart with "toot" and told him that he loves him and is going to miss him. Brynn blows him kisses every night before bed and Em would eat him if she could (even though you are NOT supposed to touch Toot)

Great gift Uncle Matt and Aunt Nicole!!!! BP BB and B__ are going to LOVE this holiday addition--I'm so glad Toot is a part of our Christmas' now (and the behavior in our house has been WONDERFUL!!!)

We have one too and Logan named HIM - Sally - don't know where he came up with that but... It is so much fun. Logan was sad on Christmas morning when he couldn't find Sally and we had to explain that he went back to the north pole with Santa till next year.

Ours is Frisbee. The website is really cute too I am not sure if you checked it out and 'registered' him. I am actually sad to see him gone. We have been refering to Frisbee each time the boys argue and it works like a charm. Very fun!

I want one of these. I've seen it in a few places. Maybe I'll have to reserve one for next year.
