Name Change???

I think a name change may be in order, for this picture proves BB is no longer a Barefoot Baby, but more of a Barefoot Lady or Barefoot Beauty. What do you think? She tells everyone she is the middlest...and BP is the oldest...and Baby C is the littlest. I look at this picture and cannot believe she is going to be 2 and a half in a little over a week. She keeps us all laughing all day, everyday. She is so full of spirit. Her hair gets blonder and her skin tanner every second she spends outside. Lucky girl!

Her big sisters did not want her to be alone when she was napping. So thoughtful + sweet!

This is why driving while texting or talking on the phone can be dangerous where we live. You never know when the neighbors cows will be loose and running down the road. Cows can do major damage to your car...

Little Gator

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday mass was at 8:15 and we made it. With that being said...Now you can understand why BP is wearing the same dress she wore last Easter. She insisted on wearing it, and we had no time to argue. Oh and same goes for the Fancy Nancy dress-up shoes. as for BB, we were just happy to get her into a dress at all!

Playdate

Barefoot Girls

Everyone asks us who Baby C looks like...you decide...if you can tell them apart. Thank heavens my computer dates all the pictures I download. Looking at the year is the only way I can tell them apart myself.

Boys + A Funny Story

We have had some gorgeous weather here lately. So we hit the park by BP's school a couple weeks ago. The girls were excited to show Baby C "moo park" as they call it. I don't know if they actually thought she was going to play with them. She just slept the entire time.
There were tons of kids at the park, but immediately BP hooked up with Tanner, a friend from school, and BB teamed up with Nolan, another friend from school. They played wonderfully for over an hour with their boy friends. As we left BP told me Tanner said she looked beautiful in her dress. I drove home thinking about how there were tons of little girls at the park, and BB and BP immediately went with the boys. Oh, how to tell Daddy this story...but then I realized that boys make great friends and there was no drama and just happy playing for over an hour and that was a really good thing!

Tillie Lays an Egg

"Tillie Lays an Egg" by Terry Golson is absolutely adorable! BB and BP ask for it every night. Tillie lays her eggs all over the farm and the girls look for them as we read the story. Great photos and there is also a website (http://www.tillielaysanegg.com/) that goes along with it. The author has written many cookbooks, but this was her first children's book. We think she got it right on her first try. Bravo!

Potty Training

Egg Hunt

A very small egg hunt and Easter party with friends. The weather was picture perfect and the girls were too!
These four pay SO well together. I was thinking after that possibly it is because they are all six months apart??? And get this...my friend Meaghan, mom of the two cuties above, is expecting a little boy in August. So he will be 6 months younger than Baby C. Perfect!

New Buggy

Baby C loves her new buggy and wants to thank Mama + Papa!
We chose the single Maclaren in charcoal and pink because BB is walking with BP and I now so a double stroller would have been a complete waste of $$$. I know the thought of our spirited BB walking is scary, but she is doing REALLY well with it, and she is constantly chatting my ear off so I always know where she is. I am shocked myself. It is amazing how she grew up so much the minute we brought Baby C through the door.
On another note...I think this is the last stroller we will own. It holds from birth to 45 lbs so we should be all set!

Barefoot Bubbly

Ok so beyond the name, this champagne is amazing! I'm a champagne girl...love a glass of bubbly for a special occasion or just celebrating a typical day. And it is very inexpensive..ok it's downright cheap at $10.99 a bottle. It' s definitely girly with a fruity sweet taste. And so delish at the end of my girl filled days.

Liberty of London

I love Liberty of London's new line, which can be found at.................Target!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Target! It was released last week and we found our way to a Target to see it. Me and my three girls. It was BabyC's first shopping trip. BP chose the two sundresses above and BB who refuses a dress chose the short set above. Baby C was out of luck because nothing camei n her size. I included a couple of other images of stuff I love but we did not bring home. There are even boxers and ties for Dads in the Liberty of London line, but I figured Bafefoot Dad puts up with enough from the 4 of us that he does not need floral boxers or a floral tie, although the girls begged to bring him some!

Pickles

BP and BB call her "Pickles" sometimes. It is really sweet. And they both still love her.
"Pickles" loves to eat, and snuggle, and smile. She is such a sweet, happy baby.

It's Coming!!!

Spring is almost here...the snow is melting, the mud is everywhere, the trees are tapped, and the sun feels so much warmer. Yesterday we hung a forsythia wreath on the potting shed to welcome Spring. We cannot wait!
