Yellow... The NEW Pink!

I love this little girl in yellow!
Just have to add that at Baby C's dr's appt. yesterday she weighed a whopping 19 lbs 1 oz! Yes, she does like to eat. I actually went to our local grocery store tonight and realized as I bought the last can of Enfamil Premium that we probably bought the entire stock this week + she consumed them!

1 month

Baby C is 1 month today!

Her adorable outfit compliments of our friends M&M, BP's best buddy and her mommy.

You have to see the other adorable items Makie Clothier makes and sells in their boutique in the city. Check out http://www.makieclothier.com/ for simple, but very chic baby and kids clothing,

Just one more...

Just one more...I promise. The others were designer Ralph Lauren Blue Label and mucho dinero, so I found something totally cute and afforable. LL Bean $39.50 and paired with a pair of skinny jeans and riding boots would be so cute.

Second Time Around

BB is wearing a size 3! I now take the clothes from BP's closet and give them right to BP. So poor BB wears a lot of hand-me-downs. It has gotten to the point that everytime I dress BB she looks at me and says, "GiGi?, GiGi?" as I put a new outfit on her. Hopefully she doesn't need therapy one day because of this.

Genuine Kids

Shopping at Target is oh so fun, especially since I found Genuine Kids by Osh Kosh. I love this brand because of the coordinating patterns and cute girly styles. Oh, and because it washes well. I can buy the shirts for BP and the matching dresses with bloomers for BB. Of course, I love the really great prices too! I have not found this brand anywhere else. Even the Osh Kosh outlet does not sell it. Above are some pieces that I bought the last time we were at Target. I just cannot resist the floral, the seersucker, and great summer colors.

Overalls...

I love overalls on The Barefoot Princess. They are perfect for BP for many reasons. They protect her knees from getting skinned when she falls. They also protect her legs from bruises if she bumps them. (She seems to always have bruises on her shins.) Overalls can be worn with short sleeves or long sleeves so they are useful for at least three seasons. They keep everything tucked in and covered up. This is a big one. It drives me crazy when BP wears jeans and there is a space where her back shows or her diaper sticks out. Not a problem with overalls. Also, it seems impossible to find a pair of toddler girl jeans that are not low-rise, what are the designers thinking? Again, not a problem with overalls. She has two pairs of overalls right now that fit her and both are from Osh Kosh. I hope Osh kosh keeps making them... How long can BP wear overalls and how long will she willingly wear them?

New Winter Wear

I cannot believe it, but we found the cutest ski outfit for The Barefoot Princess at Cabela's. I know, normally known for hunting and outdoorsy stuff and rather manly gear, but Cabela's has a children's catalog too. We ordered a Columbia jacket, ski pants, mittens and a fleece for BP all in purple. I love the fleece upper the ski pants have and the jacket is ultra water proof and warm. Now all we need is a hat (Cabela's had cute ones, but they were all backordered) and boots. BP will be one stylish ski bunny and also prepared to play in the snow when we get our first storm!!
