Barefoot Dad found a bunch of Montessori ipad apps. Here is BP doing the Hundred Board, which is one of her favorite "works" to do at school. Scary thing is this is what our world will become. It will be like..."Welcome to Kindergarten Johnny, here is your ipad. Now get to work".

Recently I have wondered about this too. Will curling up in a chair to hold and read a book be an oldfashioned idea. I hope not.
I love having the girls in my lap, reading to me and me to them.

Its so funny you posted this! There is a college that is eliminating textbooks and is requiring every student to have an ipad!!! Very scary and I have to agree with Nana, I enjoy sitting down and having the kids turn the pages in the books.
