My favorite is Lily of the Valley. They were growing wild all over the back of our yard growing up, I love how such a tiny little flower can have such a strong smell. I was so happy when we moved into our house and found them growing right outside our front door, it made it feel like home right away.
My favorite has to be roses (sorry)...If you get them at the Korean Market in Liberty they are incredibly fresh, smell beautiful and last a very long time. I have to admit in the Spring I usually go to the market 2x a month for fresh cut flowers for the kitchen table.
Lilacs, blue hydrangeas, and all white mini carnations. Carnations get a bad wrap, but I LOVE monochromatic bunches, no leaves or filler. They look pretty on the table for weeks.
