Sunday afternoon we took a ride to the Delaware River. We walked across the Roebling Bridge and down to the river access, where we played in the water. Yes, we went in the river in April and it was not cold at all! It was actually quite refreshing, but it was also 80 degrees. The girls took turns in the backpack, which we think BP may be a little big for now. All of a sudden she is all legs and lanky, which makes it hard for Daddy to carry her. On the way home we stopped at an awesome Italian place near the river and ate outside.

I think I know the place where you ate. We LOVE to fish on the Delaware. It's funny.. just this weekend Tom said we could take a drive up there for Mother's Day and he knows a place where we can sit in the river. I asked if it was rocky or mossy and he couldn't remember, though. Jason & Heidi just let us borrow their Chicco backpack carrier this weekend and it's awesome!! I'm anxious to go hiking.
