Memorial Day was The Barefoot Baby's first beach experience. (Oops, I almost forgot... our Christmas card picture was really her first time. That was a 60 degree day in December when she was one month old.) So we sat BB in the sand and of course as expected she looked at it, grabbed a handful and ate it! She had a good time and went home with sand everywhere!

I do not like the sound/feel of sand crunching in my teeth! Yuck. She's a beach bum already.. Nice pants.
Of course she ate the sand. That's what she does, right? She is adorable and looks ready for a summer at the beach.
She looks so excited to be on the beach!! Of course she ate the sand. LB is still tasting the sand in his sandbox and he is 15 months old now!!
Good for BB! LP hated the sand the first few times, BB will be the ultimate beach baby if she loved it from the first try.
