A shower where I am able to wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, and get all of the conditioner rinsed out, and maybe even shave my legs, is priceless to me right now. (I know I am not the only mom with this problem.) So I have been strategizing different ways to do this. Here is my new attempt. First, I use the first floor bathroom and wait until BB falls asleep. I put BB in her baby papasan and then wheel BP into the bathroom in her highchair (reason for not using the second floor bathroom) with something fun to play with. This almost always guarantees a full shower. Priceless in mommyland!!! So the above picture is my view from the shower.

what a great plan!!! i know how hard it can be to shower with just 1 kid, so i can imagine 2 since you can't leave them alone together yet. i'm jealous you're still able to get bp in a highchair. we packed ours up to the attic ages ago b/c buby was scaring us half to death. he was climbing up and into it from the outside and unbuckling it from the inside and trying to climb out (which i've imagined 100xs ending in a head injury on our tile floors). so before anything happened, i resolved myself that he's too big and curious and packed it away. but now there's no way to keep him put when he eats. he gave up boosters quite a while ago, too. so now he eats his meals at the big dining table with us (on his knees) or his little toddler table next to our table (which is always a risk, with the dog around). he takes so long to finish a meal b/c he takes a bite, runs into the kitchen, comes back for another bite, etc.
That's a smart idea! Do you have special toys or projects that will be shower time only to keep BP occupied so you can take a long, relaxing shower?
