The Hunt Continues...

The other day we bought this double stroller and we were so excited because we thought we found the perfect one...until we brought it home, opened the box, assembled it, and let The Barefoot Princess try it out. She barely fit in it! BP is pretty big for her age, but not huge. We were shocked that the stroller was so narrow she barely had room to move, and this was without a sweater or coat on. Although she was very excited and kept saying "share" and "baby" (we told her it was for her and her little sister and she was going to have to share it), unfortunately we have to return it this weekend and continue searching for the perfect double stroller. I am really bummed about this because I liked the sturdiness of this stroller and the way it handled. It folded easily, wasn't too heavy and had cargo space underneath. It also had two drink holders and the seats both reclined independantly for sleeping babies. I think this stroller would be perfect for someone having twins or two children that are less than two years apart. We are taking The Barefoot Princess with us stroller shopping this time to make sure she fits!!

Oh no! That's annoying. I'm going to start looking for a back-and-front double stroller, so I can still fit into narrow storefronts and down busy festival streets. I've seen some where the toddler sits in front with the great view and newborn is in back facing mom (and eventually faces forward). I haven't done any research yet. Is there a reason you prefer side-by-side to front-and-back?
